Here is GDN’s exclusive list of DSO and emerging group M&A for November:

Lone Peak Dental Group announced the acquisition of Deborah A. Ashcraft, D.M.D., P.C., Pediatric Dentistry, a long-standing pediatric dental practice in North Augusta, South Carolina. This acquisition expands Lone Peak’s established presence in South Carolina to ten pediatric dental practices. Lone Peak supports more than 75 pediatric dental practices across 14 states

Shared Practice Group announced the following grand openings:

Heartland Dental affiliated with Avon Dental Care (OH) and Water Lily Dental Care (FL) and opened the following De Novo practices: Dental Care at Triple Crown (KY), Bullfrog Creek Dental Care (FL), Second Creek Dental Care (CO), and Stonebrook Dental Care (NV).

SALT Dental Partners welcomed:

PDS Health opened five de novo dental practices. The leading integrated healthcare support organization has demonstrated steady growth and continued expansion and now supports more than 1,000 offices in 24 states.

Imagen Dental Partners announced new partnerships:

Dentistry for Children is expanding in New Jersey after securing more than 2,400 square feet in North Bergen.  The new location will provide pediatric dental and orthodontic care. The group also has locations in Cliffside Park, Howell, Jackson, Jersey City, Lakewood, Lodi, Neptune and Toms River.

Accelerate Dental welcomed Bear River Dental, Evanston, WY, and its dentists: Dr. Nate Lester, Dr. Hayden Welch, Dr. Chris Jorgensen, and Dr. Travis Dixon.

Mortenson Dental Partners (MDP) announced that it has expanded its footprint in the Indianapolis community with the opening of a new location. The 10-operatory practice, located on Shadeland Avenue in Indianapolis, will operate under MDP’s Gentle Dentist brand, bringing the total number of Gentle Dentist practices to 13.

U.S. Oral Surgery Management (USOSM) – a management services organization that exclusively serves oral and maxillofacial surgeons – has three new partner practices in three states:

Triumphant Partners served as advisor to Dr. George Metz and five partners, owners of Kendall Woods Dental, Sister Creek Dental, Hill Country Dental Specialists, and Comal Hills Dental, with locations in Boerne, Floresville, and Spring Branch, Texas, in their sale to Squire Dental. The transaction was led by Nate Thompson and Carlo Ronci.

Triumphant Partners advised Dr. Kevin Ng, owner of Molar City in Chicago, Illinois, in its sale to Independence. The transaction was led by Carlo Ronci and Tony Reeder. 

Vitana Pediatric & Orthodontic Partners, a dentist-led dental partnership organization (DPO) focused exclusively on Pediatric Dental and Orthodontic practices with operations in Florida, Texas, Alabama, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, New Jersey & New York, announced its further expansion in New York City with the addition of Bright Healthy Smiles, led by Dr. Emanuela Corielli.

Smile Doctors added two new affiliated practices in Connecticut and completed two expansion acquisitions in Texas, bringing its network to more than 560 practices across 36 states.

MB2 Dental partnered with Dr. Daniel Sluyk, owner of DS Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in Scottsdale, AZ.

beBright celebrated the grand opening of Children’s Dentistry of Knoxville.

Sage Dental opened their newest location in Estero, FL.

Periodontal & Implant Associates has merged with Dr. George Papasikos. The Montclair offices have combined at 90 Park Street, where he joins Dr. Teresa Yang and Dr. Jennifer Georgiadis. The Bedminster location will also expand with Dr. Chan Chung and Dr. Eric Weiss.

European Dental Group has completed the acquisition of Fresh, including Fresh Tandartsen, Fresh Unieke Mondzorg and Fresh’s dental laboratories in the Netherlands. With the integration of Fresh, the organization will operate 169 clinics. With this acquisition, the organization marks a significant step in EDG’s ongoing expansion across Europe. The acquisition follows the recent acquisition of Benedenti in Belgium.

UK-based Iconic Smiles opened a new location in Norwich, England.  Iconic Smiles also has five additional locations. The latest opening comes at a time when many city folk are struggling to find dental appointments due to a lack of space at NHS practices and long waiting lists for private operators.
