Trey Mueller joined Dental Care Alliance as their new Chief Clinical Officer. Dr. Mueller has been an integral part of DCA for over a decade, most recently serving as Chief Dental Officer for the Midwest and South Divisions. Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Sarasota, FL, Dental Care Alliance supports more than 400 affiliated dental practices in 24 states. Trey is being replaced as Cheif Dental Officer – Midwest by Dr. Kristen Hendricks.
Troy Stone was promoted to Chief People Officer at Espire Dental. Troy has worked in HR management for Rad Power Bikes, Blue Harbor Senior Living, and Nike. Espire Dental is headquartered in Greenwood Village, CO.
Smile Partners USA welcomed Christina Whedon as their Senior Director of Hygiene. Prior to this role, Christina has spent the past 20 years chairside as a registered dental hygienist.
Sonrava Health announced the appointment of Mikhail Gorbatenko as Senior Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management. Before joining Sonrava Health, Mikhail led revenue cycle modernization initiatives at NextCare, overseeing operations for more than 170 urgent care clinics. Sonrava Health is a national, multi-brand, health and wellness company focused on dental, orthodontic, and specialty care across the United States.
OMS360 announced the expansion of its leadership team with two strategic hires positioned to accelerate the company’s growth plans across its network of oral and maxillofacial surgery practices in the Eastern half of USA:
- Chip Geitz joined as the CFO. Chip brings over two decades of healthcare financial leadership experience, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer for the Georgia Market at United Musculoskeletal Partners and Chief Financial Officer at Resurgens Orthopaedics.
- Thomas House joined as their Marketing & Communications Manager. Thomas brings marketing experience from healthcare and B2B technology sectors, including roles at Eye Consultants of Atlanta, ZwickRoell in North America, and Notal Vision.
SALT Dental Partners welcomed:
- Jennifer Walker as their Vice President of Compliance. Jennifer has worked in compliance for other dental companies like Dentive and Specialty Dental Brands. She began her dental career as a dental assistant.
- Charles Fisher as their VP of Procurement. He has also worked in procurement and supply chain for D4C Dental Brands and Symmetry Surgical.
Tricia Nardi was promoted to Director of Training and Culture at Bright Direction Dental. She has also worked in HR at Grand Dental Group. Bright Direction Dental is a dental support organization that partners with general dentists in the Midwest.
Lone Peak Dental Group, a pediatric dental service organization announced the appointment of three leaders to its Board of Directors: Dr. Jillian Wallen of Creighton University School of Dentistry; Dr. Carolyn Brown, a nationally recognized strategist and innovator in dental healthcare; and Susie Qian of BlackRock.
Elizabeth Conforti joined American Dental Companies as their Chief Operating Officer. The group is headquartered in Phoenix, AZ.
Heidi Arndt joined Dynamic Dental Services Group as their COO. DDSG is a dental partnership organization (DPO) in the Kansas City Metro Area. They have 13 non branded dental practices in their organization. Heidi is a longtime veteran in the DSO space.
Christy Keller is promoted to VP of Orthodontic Operations at Five Point Dental Specialists. The group is headquartered in Irving, Texas and was founded in 2018.
Affordable Care welcomed:
- Jenn McClain as their new Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to this role, Jenn was CMO at Smile Doctors. She has also held marketing positions at iFLY indoor Skydiving and The Limited, Chico’s, Ann Taylor and RadioShack.
- Dave Tankovich as their Vice President S.W.A.T Operations. Prior to this role, Dave held operations positions at Affordable Dentures & Implants.
Jenny Organista-Topchik joined Freedom Dental Health System as the Director of Revenue Cycle Management. Prior to this she was Director of Revenue Cycle Operations at Elevated Dental Partners and Underbite Dental Management. Freedom is headquartered in Newark, Delaware and was founded in 2015.
US Oral Surgery Management transitioned Richard Hall from his role as President and CEO of USOSM to Chairman of the USOSM Board of Directors. Their new CEO is Doug Drew, a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience. Prior to joining USOSM, Drew served as the Global President of Mars Veterinary Health, the largest veterinary platform in the world with more than 3,000 veterinary hospitals and 12,000 veterinarians in 20+ countries. The group also promoted Connor Copeland to Vice President Finance. He has worked in finance for the group for six years.
Archway Dental Partners announced some personnel additions:
- Yarellys Torres joins as their Director of Recruiting. Yarellys brings a powerhouse background in dental operations and recruiting, having spent years building strong clinical teams and driving growth across multi-site dental organizations. Yarellys has also worked as a regional manager for Dental Care Alliance, The Smilist Management, and Dr. Dental.
- Alyssa Keefer joined as Director of Marketing. She began her journey in the dental field as a sterilization tech. She previously worked in marketing for Shared Practices Group, CarolinasDentist and Traction for Dental.
Sarah Mueller RDH became Director of Dental Hygiene at WorkWell Dental Group. Prior to WorkWell, Srah worked for Swish Bio and Aspen Dental. From Cape Cod to the mountains of Vermont, their practices span New England. The DSO is headquartered in Lexington, MA.
Brandie Young Director is promoted to Director of Talent Acquisition at Mortenson Dental Partners. She has also worked for Aspen Dental.
Chris Howell has been confirmed as Clyde Munro‘s new chairman, bringing experience from executive and advisory roles across high-profile organizations, including Kodak Alaris, D&D London, and Bensons For Beds. The group currently has approximately 850 team members including dentists, practice and support teams across Scotland, with 65 dental practices.
