Alison Puterbaug was promoted to Clinical Systems Manager at Specialty Dental Brands. She was previously their clinical systems analyst. Alison started her dental career as a receptionist with Coast Dental.
Justin Stephenson joined Specialty Dental Brands as Director of Operations, Orthodontics. Prior to joining the DSO, Justin worked in various operations roles at Imagen, Great Expressions Dental Centers, and Align Technology.
Stacie McLean joined BOND Orthodontic Partners as VP of Operations. She was previously in operations at Portland Dental Consulting, SALT Dental Collective and Northwest Dental Group.
TAG – The Aspen Group applauded TAG Oral Care Center (OCC) of Excellence’s Executive Director, Dr. Julie Frantsve-Hawley, Ph.D., C.A.E. for her recent appointment to the ADA Foundation Board of Directors (ADAF). This accomplishment is a testament to Dr. Frantsve-Hawley’s extensive industry knowledge, demonstrated history of leadership in oral and public health, and passion for serving others. Her dedication to expanding access to care and creating innovative professional education, training, and research opportunities in dentistry will continue to inform her in this new position with the ADA Foundation Board. Hyung Bak became Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at TAG – The Aspen Group. In his new role, Bak will split his time between the TAG Practice Support Centers in Chicago and Syracuse to oversee Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, Employee Relations, and Industry and Governmental Affairs across TAG. He joined TAG as General Counsel in December 2022.
Caitlin Maehr promoted to Vice President Operations at Areo Dental Group. Prior to this position, she was their director of operations. She has also held operations and management positions at 42 North Dental and Admire Dental LLC.
Dr. Robert Kolts has joined Dental365 as the Senior Vice President of Clinical Affairs. Prior to this position, Dr. Kolts worked for Overjet, Verber Dental Group, Treehouse Dental, and Northwest Dental Group LLC.
Nicole Densler-Brown became Director of Talent Acquisition at Foundation Dental Partners. Prior to this position, Nicole was in talent acquisition at Imagen Dental Partners and Coast Dental.
Affordable Care announced that Jumoke Adedoyin, DDS, MICOI, MAAIP, AFAAID, and Daniel Fenton, DMD, FAGD, AFAAID, DICOI, have been named Chief Clinical Officers of Affordable Dentures & Implants, the nation’s largest provider network of dental practices — supported by Affordable Care – that are solely focused on tooth replacement services. Dr. Adedoyin most recently served as the Director of Clinical Relations for Affordable Dentures & Implants and has been a practice owner within the network for nearly 15 years. Dr. Fenton, a practice owner since 2013, has served as Affordable Dentures & Implants’ Director of Clinical Education & Training.
Jason Heffelfinger joined Dental Care Alliance (DCA) as its new CEO. Jason most recently served as Chief Services Officer for Petco, a category-defining health and wellness company, focused on improving the lives of pets, pet parents, and Petco’s partners. There, he was responsible for leading all aspects of Petco’s Pet Services businesses, including one of the fastest growing vet hospital buildouts ever in the industry. His leadership helped Petco deliver double-digit sales and EBITDA growth across all service businesses while building them to over a $700m run rate.
Jerry Rhodes is named DCA’s Executive Chair of the Board of Directors. He led DCA for the last six years and has stepped down as Chief Executive Officer. Under Rhodes’s leadership, DCA experienced unprecedented growth – expanding to more than 400 offices across 23 states. During his tenure, DCA invested in its people, systems, and technology, and increased EBITDA.
Trisha Williams RDH, BS is promoted to new position as Vice President of Operations at Sonrava Health. Prior, she was their director of dental hygiene. She has also worked in operational and hygiene at DentalOne Partners. She started her dental career as a patient relations coordinator.
myOrthos welcomed John Heller as their new CEO. Most recently, John founded and served as CEO of rehabilitation services company HealthPRO-Heritage, where he remains a Board Member. John and his team successfully scaled HealthPRO-Heritage from $9m to $550m and steered the company through two successful recapitalizations. Prior experience includes the turnaround of Housecall Medical Resources, as their CEO, and President of the Post-Acute Care Division of Integrated Health Services. He was named a 2015 E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year award winner in Maryland.
Alexis Warner joined MODIS Dental Partners as their Vice President Operations. Prior to this appointment, Alexis was VP of business operations at North American Dental Group. Learn more about MODIS Dental Partners HERE.
Dale Hockel Jr. joined Great Expressions Dental Centers as their COO. Dale has also worked as COO at Traders Advisory Services and Dental Care Alliance. Founded in 1982, Great Expressions has 300+ practices in 9 states.
