TUSK Practice Sales, the premiere healthcare-focused M&A advisor, advised Sara Cummins Aesthetic & Implant Dentistry in its affiliation with MB2 Dental. The transaction was led by Yazen Abusad, Associate of Mergers & Acquisitions at TUSK Practice Sales. Alex Cherniavsky and Sam Lupton spearheaded the diligence and analytics efforts for TUSK. Sara Cummins Aesthetic & Implant Dentistry has served the Prospect, Kentucky community since 2003. TUSK Practice Sales recently rebranded from TUSK Partners. The evolution aligns with the company’s commitment to providing unparalleled support for healthcare practice owners looking to navigate the complexities of selling their practice and getting the value they deserve for their life’s work.
Guided Practice Solutions (GPS Dental) acquired Ambler Dental Care, Bear Valley Dental Care, and York Dental Care. The three locations are part of a group practice owned by Dr. Jashank Sampat and are located in the Philadelphia area.
Enhance Dental announced four new practices, marking a significant expansion in Northern Oklahoma and, for the first time, into Kansas:

- Parsons Family Dentistry
- Pawhuska Dental
- Winfield Dental
Dental Associates has leased 1,260 square feet at Heights Plaza in Jersey City. Dental Associates and its affiliates have more than 20 locations throughout New York City, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The new dental practice will replace an old one at a shopping plaza in Jersey City Heights
Affordable Care’s Affordable Dentures & Implants network opened one new location, Affordable Dentures & Implants in El Cajon, California.
GTCR, a private equity firm, announced that its management partnership with Kelly McCrann, Avryo Health Services, LLC, has completed a strategic investment in 7to7 Dental in partnership with Justin Coke, Chief Executive Officer, and Tiffany Winburn, DMD, Chief Clinical Officer, who retained substantial ownership in the Company. Kelly McCrann has joined 7to7 as Executive Chairman alongside the existing management team who will continue in their current roles. Founded in 2008 and based in San Antonio, Texas, 7to7 is a DSO with nine locations in the area.
North American Dental Group opened a new dental practice in the Shaker Heights area of Cleveland, Ohio.
Main Street Capital Corporation announced that it recently completed a new portfolio investment to facilitate the recapitalization of a multi-location urgent and general care dental service organization located in the Midwestern U.S. (the “Company”). Main Street, along with its co-investor, partnered with the Company’s founder and a private investment group to facilitate the transaction, with Main Street funding $12.8 million in a combination of first lien, senior secured term debt and a direct equity investment.
MAX Surgical Specialty Management announced the completion of four acquisitions that kick-start the platform’s Northeastern growth into three new states. Expanding into New York, Pennsylvania, and the underserved state of Vermont. MAX’s expansion into Pennsylvania with the acquisition of Lititz Oral Surgery, located in Lititz and Hershey, Pennsylvania and led by surgeon Dr. John Vakkas, DDS, MD, is just off the heels of partnering with practices in New York and Vermont. This entry into Pennsylvania will further add to New Jersey based, MAX’s surgeon-led OMS platform. The group revealed their launch announcement at The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) meeting in September 2023.

- Leading Edge Oral Surgery, an oral surgery group under Dental365’s umbrella, announced the acquisition of Eastern Long Island Oral Surgery PLLC, a well-established oral surgery practice located in Center Moriches, NY. This strategic move further solidifies Leading Edge Oral Surgery’s expanded presence.
MB2 Dental had a busy month:
- Raised US$2.344bn Unitranche Debt Facility With KKR. Since its founding, MB2 Dental has partnered with more than 685 general and specialty dental practices across 39 states. The financing will be used to fund upcoming acquisitions and future growth for the company, following a record year of growth in 2023 with 150 new partnerships.
- Announced its entry into West Virginia with the forging of a dental partnership with two locations in the state. This marks the 40th state in which MB2 Dental now operates. The practice, Drs. Daniel K. Monday & Stephen P. Graziani P.L.L.C., is the latest addition to MB2 Dental’s DPO network.
- Ranked #102 on the 2024 Inc. Regionals Southwest list. This marks the third year in which MB2 Dental appeared on the Inc. Regionals Southwest list, which evaluates companies based in Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. MB2 Dental was one of 47 Dallas-Fort Worth metro area companies that made the list and within those, one of 12 in the healthcare industry.

Seva Dental Team welcomed Mikula Dental in Livonia, Michigan, to the emerging group. Seva is headquartered in southeastern Michigan.
Abra Health Group expanded its reach In New Jersey with Grand Opening of New Dental and Pediatric Primary Care Offices in Newark. Strategically positioned near Branch Brook Park, the new and third Abra Dental office in Newark offers comprehensive dental and orthodontic care for patients of all ages, while Abra Health provides pediatric primary care services. Founded in 2008 by Doctors Michael and Brooke Skolnick, a husband-and-wife dental team, Abra Health Group is a rapidly expanding family of health practices.
Dental Care Alliance (DCA) welcomed Gentle Dental World of New York, a single-location general practice located in Queens, New York. Gentle Dental World was founded in 2004. This affiliation continues the rapid growth and momentum for the organization and expands DCA’s footprint in New York to 22 allied practices, and DCA’s total footprint to over 400 allied practices across the US.
Southern Orthodontic Partners (SOP) announced its expansion into the Greater Chicago, Illinois Area. This move marks a new chapter for the platform as it broadens SOP’s territory further into Northern markets. SOP has entered Chicago in partnership with Dr. William Petty and Dr. Kathryn Bielik of Petty & Bielik Orthodontics, based in Oak Lawn, IL. The platform has its sights set on adding more partners in the Greater Chicago area throughout 2024.
Tri-County Community Action Agency announced it has acquired the St. Joseph Pediatric Dental Center, which was previously operated by CharterCARE Health Partners. The acquisition was approved by the R.I. Department of Health and will help thousands of Rhode Islanders – particularly low and moderate-income families – get access to dental care.
Dental Depot celebrated the grand opening of their 36th Dental Depot office located in Phoenix, Arizona.
Endodontic Practice Partners announced new partnerships:

Barcelona-based Corus welcomed Simple Dental Ceramics dental laboratory, based in Brentwood, Essex, UK, to its platform. Corus is an integrated network of dental laboratories in Europe.
