80 Location Dental Group Recapitalized

Elite Dental Partners, a Midwestern doctor-led, doctor-focused, dental support organization, has just completed a majority recapitalization with Cressey & Company. Cressey has expertise in scaling business services required by multi-site providers, which could help support Elite’s expansion goals. The private equity firm, which typically invests in later stage and growth equity companies $10M to $100M, is investing and partnering alongside current shareholders, Tyree & D’Angelo Partners and management.

Founded in 2014 and based in Chicago, IL, Elite Dental Partners has more than 80 affiliated offices across ten states. Elite supports a network of over 130 dentists who provide recurring general dentistry services to an expansive patient base. They have a strong track record of growth through affiliation and de novo locations and continue to increase their presence in existing geographies. They are focused on affiliating with practices in the following states: Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Wisconsin (see map above.)
