On February 9th GDN published an article on Great Expression Dental Center’s growth and need to relocate its headquarters from Bloomfield Hills, MI to Southfield, MI -[ Read HERE ]. Now word from upstate New York is that Aspen Dental has outgrown its DeWitt, NY headquarters and needs to move to a larger building to accommodate their growth. Fortunately for the state of New York it looks like Aspen is going to stay in the Empire state and move its corporate headquarters to downtown Syracuse.
In a news release, Bob Fontana, CEO of Aspen Dental Management stated, “We’re excited about the possibility of relocating our Practice Support Center from East Syracuse to downtown Syracuse, a move that will not only keep our talented team of nearly 600 people right here in Central New York, but also allow us to be a part of the downtown revitalization effort.”
According to Syracuse.com, the location of ADMI’s new HQ will be City Center at 400 S. Salina St in Syracuse, NY. Aspen intends to lease 170,000 square feet of space and add an additional 400 jobs by 2020. Pending the finalization of terms with the landlord and other stakeholders, construction is anticipated to begin this summer with a move in date some time in late 2017.
After this story and the Great Expressions story, is there any doubt that the dental support organization business model in dentistry has taken hold?
