Dental Associates, the largest family-owned practice in Wisconsin with over 90 dentists and specialists, opens new location at Bayshore on North Shore, WI.

Specialty1 Partners welcomes Dr. Ahmad Chaudhry of Lehigh Valley Oral Surgery & Implant Center (two locations in Bethlehem and Stroudsburg, PA) as a new partner. In addition to Dr. Chaudhry, the practice also has two other oral & maxillofacial surgeons: Dr. Jean Kim and Dr. Maryam Farag.

Abra Health (formerly Childsmiles Group) expands dental services with acquisition of two oral surgery practices in Northern New Jersey and one in Allentown, PA. The NJ practices, known as Bayonne Oral Surgery in Bayonne, NJ, and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Institute in Newark, NJ, will join forces under the new umbrella of the Abra Health group called Garden State Oral Surgery Group. Following the acquisition, both practices will continue to operate under their existing names and locations.  Their fifth PA location operates under the Smiles 4 Keeps brand in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Dr. Michael Skolnick, DMD, is the CEO of Abra Health.

Aspen Dental opens its first practice in Nevada. The practice is led by owner Dr. Whitney White. The new office in Las Vegas is located at 2050 E. Serene Ave, Las Vegas. With more than 1,000 locations in 44 states, the Aspen Dental network of offices now serves more than 30,000 patients each day.

Dental Care Alliance (DCA) welcomes Dental Health Associates of Virginia to its portfolio of affiliated practices. Dental Health Associates offers full-service dental care with clinics in five Shenandoah Valley locations, Harrisonburg, Staunton, Dayton, Fishersville, and Lexington, VA. Dental Health Associates was founded nearly 20 years ago in 2003, and is currently owned by Drs. Daniel LaGrua, Dennis Calvano, and Cameron Roberts.

Premier Care Dental Management/Dental365 announced its latest addition – Theroux Dental Associates. Located in North Grafton marks the 14th addition to Dental365’s network of offices in Massachusetts. 

Brident Dental & Orthodontics, a member of the Sonrava Health family of wellness companies, announced the following openings:

Vitana Pediatric & Orthodontic Partners expands into Louisiana with the addition of Pediatric Dental Partners. Dr. Daniel Crawford, Dr. Lauren Wallace, Dr. Shannon Backofen and Dr. Susan Chidlow are the owners of Pediatric Dental Partners (PDP). Vitana now has operations in Louisiana, Florida, Alabama, Pennsylvania & New Jersey.

Scottish Dental Care, led by Lynn Hood, Chief Executive, welcomes new clinics:

• The group has invested around £400,000 into the refurbishment of Cardonald Dental Clinic, which includes three new surgeries and an expanded footprint. The practice is also bringing onboard two new dentists, increasing the total staff count to 10. This will enable the clinic to welcome up to 2,000 NHS patients – adding to its active register of 5,500.
• The group has acquired its 20th location. Port Glasgow’s long standing Belhaven Dental Surgery is the latest to join Scottish Dental Care, a move that will see the practice grow, as well as support its near 10,000 NHS patients. Owner and dentist Catherine Jones established the clinic in 2005, following a move and refurbishment in 2015 the clinic has grown to include five surgeries with 20 staff, the majority of which are local to Inverclyde.

GPS (Guided Practice Solutions) Dental establishes 13 new dental practice partnerships across six states for a total of 53 dental practices. Four of these states are entirely new territories for the GPS footprint. These new states include California, Utah, Nevada, and Minnesota.
