Gentle Dental Partners has closed an affiliation deal with Great Hill Dental Partners LLC, adding five multi-specialty practices in the Greater Boston area. Great Hill Dental Partners practices will continue to operate under the name Great Hill Dental Partners, now one of five affiliated brands in the Gentle Dental Partners portfolio. Gentle Dental Partners, which started 40 years ago, will add additional resources to support Great Hill Dental Partners’ business and administrative functions. Dr. Michael Scialabba, the CEO of Great Hill Dental Partners and a practicing dentist in the organization, will remain in his current position while also 
joining the Gentle Dental Partners Clinical Management Team. In this expanded role, he takes a leadership position at Gentle Dental Partners and will work to leverage clinical best practices between the two organizations. Scialabba said, “This partnership will allow our doctors to fully focus on their patients with full support for the administrative aspects of a dental practice.”
Great Hill Dental Partners made the news in April 2016 when they announced that Dr. Ryan S. Lee, DDS, MPH, MHA, a Dental/Oral Oncologist who provides customized dental and oral care for cancer patients before, during, and after treatment (e.g., chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, and stem cell/bone marrow transplants), had joined their Boston team.
