US-Based PE Firm Partners with Canadian Dental Support Organization

Sentinel Capital Partners, a private equity firm that invests in promising companies at the lower end of the middle market, announced a new partnership with Altima Dental Centres, one of the largest dental services organization in Canada. Sentinel, a New York-based firm, has experience with dental support organizations.  In January of 2016, Sentinel sold Northeast Dental Management to Dental Care Alliance [read the story HERE].  Prior to the sale to DCA, Sentinel had ownership in Northeast Dental Management since April of 2012.

Altima’s founders, Drs. Grail and Christodoulou, have built the business over the past 23 years. Headquartered in Toronto, Altima’s clinic network includes of over 30 offices across six provinces in Canada. Altima’s strategy is to continue growing through affiliation with other dental offices throughout Canada.
