Lone Peak Dental Group acquired four Vital Smiles dental and orthodontic practices in Alabama. Lone Peak now supports five practices in the state, including Jambo Kids Dental in Huntsville. Lone Peak also supports the Vital Smiles practices in Norcross and Albany, Georgia. Founded in 2003 by two pediatric dentists, Lone Peak supports more than 90 pediatric dental and orthodontic practices across 14 states and provides dental care to more than 850,000 children annually.

In September, PDS Health opened 10 de novo dental practices. The leading integrated healthcare support organization has demonstrated steady growth and continued expansion and now supports more than 1,100 offices in 24 states.

Orthodontic Experts opened two de novo orthdontic clinics in Munster and Portage Indiana. This expands the Indiana presence to six locations. Orthodontic Experts is a doctor-owned OSO founded in 2013 by Dr. Yaroslav Yarmolyuk. Orthodontic Experts is currently operating 35 orthodontic clinics in Illinois, Wisconsin.

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Health opened a new dental and oral care clinic in Florence that officials say will expand access to dental services across the Pee Dee and help train the next generation of dentists in South Carolina. The new MUSC Health Dental and Oral Care clinic is located at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center. The Medical University of South Carolina was founded in Charleston in 1824 and is the state’s only comprehensive academic health system. MUSC educates more than 3,490 students in six colleges and trains more than 1,175 residents and fellows across its health system each year.


Aria Care Partners, a provider to skilled nursing facilities (SNF) of dental, vision, audiology, and podiatry services as well as insurance solutions for residents, announced that it has acquired Precision Mobile Care (PMC). Based in Utah, PMC serves thousands of residents in over half of the skilled nursing communities across the state. The company offers a full range of mobile onsite preventive and restorative dental care through a professional staff of dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants. The acquisition represents the culmination of a successful ten-year partnership under which Aria has provided affordable dental insurance to many residents of PMC’s client communities. Wave Dental Professionals just opened its newest location in Buckhead, GA. The branded group now has nine locations in MI, TN, TX and GA. It is headquartered in Detroit, MI.


Passion Dental Group opened two new locations under the name Anytime Dental. The group is headquartered in Calgary, Albeta, CA and now has 74 locations:


Archway Dental Partners expanded into Massachusetts through a new partnership with Veale Dental, welcoming Dr. John Veale in Easton and Dr. Peter Veale in Dartmouth to the Archway network.


Daia Orthodontics & TMJ Orthopedics, based in Rochester Hills, Michigan, has expanded into Canada with the acquisition of four orthodontic clinics in the Maritime provinces. The clinics in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Woodstock, New Brunswick, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and Summerside, Prince Edward Island previously operated as docbraces. Their existing clinical and administrative teams will continue to serve patients. Dr. Hadi Daia has treated patients at the four locations since 2021. With the addition of four Maritime clinics, Daia Orthodontics will serve patients across 5 locations.


Legacy Dental Group has acquired the dental practice of Joseph Elkins Jr., DDS. The acquisition is the sixth completed by Legacy Dental Group since the company was founded. The group also supports Hixson Dental Group, Chattanooga Family Dentistry, Lookout Valley Dental and Mountain View Family Dental.


Operation Dental is expanding again with the acquisition of two dental practices in the Florida Panhandle. Its growth strategy remains firmly rooted in strengthening the existing practices and people. Most recently, the expansion of Blue Wave Dental’s clinical team establishes the practice as a three-provider practice, broadening its clinical capacity and positioning the team for sustained growth. In addition, the promotion of Neshmarie Agosto to Clinical Regional Manager strengthens clinical leadership and collaboration across Northwest Florida.


Specialized Dental Partners welcomed Dr. Gibran Mangui and Westerville Center for Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.


Premier Care Dental Management entered Virginia through its acquisition of Seven Pines Dental Group. The group has three locations serving the greater Richmond area in White Oak, Sandston, and Mechanicsville.


Rock Dental Brands welcomed Burr Orthodontics, with two locations in Waverly, TN and Dickson, TN.


Park Dental Partners added Sapphire Dental Care, a three-doctor practice in the Phoenix metropolitan area, to its affiliated network. Park now has three (3) practices in Arizona, including two (2) in Phoenix and one (1) in Tucson.


Corus Orthodontists reported that seven practices representing 11 locations joined its network across the United States and Canada. Three associate doctors also became doctor partners, while the group continued investing in practice expansions and new locations.


Shared Practices Group opened a new SPG Dental Implant Centers location, Warwick Dentures and Implants, in Warwick, RI, led by Dr. Noah Spagnolo. SPG now supports more than 49 offices in 31 states.


Rifkin Dental welcomed Dr. Ken Legunn and his periodontal practice, Northern Westchester Periodontics and Dental Implant. The group now has four locations in New York.


Sage Dental of Jacksonville at Town Center is now open. Sage has over 150 practices across the Southeast.


Aspen Dental has closed its location on Vineyard Drive, Dunkirk, NY. Customers were sent a letter advising them of the decision, which took effect Sept. 1, and invited them to continue at their location in Blasdell. Aspen Dental also has a location in Lakewood. According to the Better Business Bureau, Aspen Dental first opened in Dunkirk in 2011.


Damira Dental Studios opened a new location in Damira Thetford, growing their presence in Norfolk alongside their teams in Holt and Wells-next-the-Sea. Headquartered in London, England, Damira has over 50 locations across England.
