2020 has certainly not been the year we all thought it would be. The pandemic has challenged our industry. From patients to providers to support organizations to industry partners, the DSO industry has been severely impacted. By many accounts, the DSO segment of the dental industry has bounced back better than the rest of the dental industry and has proven to be resilient and innovative.
Like most of the DSO industry, GDN was challenged at the beginning of the pandemic. But, as the year progressed, we found that both emerging and established DSOs were utilizing us and our resources more than ever before and relying on us to communicate messaging and inform a blind-sided industry. Our media outlet became the industry connector to help our growing audience not only stay informed on industry happenings, events, products/services to help with efficiency and to navigate the unchartered landscape, but to learn about each other and understand how others were managing during these uncertain times. For GDN, the silver lining in this tumultuous year has been that 2020 will be our best year since our start in 2014. We thank our readers and advertising partners for our success.
GDN is the only comprehensive online resource for DSOs and group dental practice news, analysis, education, and events. With over 850 articles, all of this content is available for free. In 2021, we will continue to provide you with the articles, podcasts, webinars, and tools that you have come to expect and rely on.
