Here is GDN’s exclusive list of DSO and emerging group M&A for July:

Mortenson Dental Partners (MDP) announced a new partnership with Millard Oaks Dental in Omaha, Nebraska. Millard Oaks Dental will join MDP’s Summit Dental Health region, bringing the region’s practice count to 11 and MDP’s total practice count to 147. Millard Oaks Dental was founded in 2008 by Dr. Carolyn Taggart.

A new dental group has emerged—Lotus Dental Arts. The group launched with the acquisition of Empire Dental Arts in Ohio and has just expanded into the Florida market. The group is founded and led by Aziza Abed.


MB2 Dental introduced three new practices and welcomed two new doctor partners across two different states in July. This brings their 2025 total new practice count to 37:

SALT Dental Partners has officially opened a second headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. While Phoenix remains the company’s primary base, the new location will support continued growth and enhance service to partner practices nationwide. SALT also welcomed:


Imagen Dental Partners announced its expansion into Washington state with the addition of Aesthetica Contemporary Dentistry in Seattle, led by Dr. Evyenia Kollia. This marks Imagen’s presence in its 16th state.


Specialized Dental Partners announced the grand opening of their new HQ in Franklin, TN. They also welcomed:


Har Dental Group is thrilled to announced the opening of two new locations in Plainview and Slaton, Texas. Their first location is in Tulia, TX. The group is led by Dr. Omar Harmouche, DMD.


Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics, part of the Irving, Texas–based dental service organization supporting 48 practices across ColoradoArizona, and Texas, announced the grand opening of its brand-new Westminster, CO location. This expansion transforms the former Smile Heroes clinic into a superhero-themed dental destination.


Phase 1 Equity, a doctor-owned, doctor-led, and doctor-governed platform for orthodontists and pediatric dentists, welcomed another multi-site and multi-doctor orthodontic practice based in Louisiana to its growing network. This is their first location in Louisiana. Phase 1 also welcomed an orthodontic practice based in Northern California to its growing network.


EPIC4 Specialty Partners welcomed Beecroft Orthodontics. Founded in 2012 by Dr. Matt Beecroft, the practice began with a single office in Spotsylvania, Virginia. Through a series of strategic acquisitions and a commitment to patient experiences, Beecroft Orthodontics has grown to include eight locations across the state, serving communities in Fredericksburg, Stafford, Arlington, Woodbridge, Ruckersville, Charlottesville, Mechanicsville, and Glen Allen.

Flagship Specialty Partners, a support organization for full-scope oral surgery practices across the Southeast, announced its newest partnership with South Florida Dental Implant & Facial Surgery Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Flagship Specialty Partners serves more than 70 providers at 50 locations across a 4-state region.

U.S. Oral Surgery Management (USOSM) – a management services organization that exclusively serves oral and maxillofacial surgeons – has secured a partnership with Hopkin Oral Surgery of Salt Lake City, USOSM’s first partner practice in the state of Utah. USOSM now has more than 260 surgeon partners in 30 states. The practice is led by Dustin J. Hopkin, DDS.

Smile Partners USA has expanded its network with the recent addition of two new affiliates—Blankenship Family Dentistry in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and Executive Dentistry in Dearborn, Michigan.


Abra Dental, a family and pediatric dental care group, announced the grand opening of its seventh location at 370 Broadway in Paterson, New Jersey. Abra Dental is supported by Abra Health Group, a doctor-led dental support organization (DSO) headquartered in New Jersey. Their other six offices are located in Newark, Elizabeth, Jersey City, and Kearn, NJ.


Delta Dental of Wisconsin, a member of the national Delta Dental Plans Association, recently acquired a group of practices known as Cherry Tree Dental.


Allied OMS partnered with four new OMS practices. This announcement comes on the heels of a significant minority investment from 65 Equity Partners. Allied OMS is led by CEO, Daniel Hosler.


Bridgepoint has agreed to acquire a majority stake in mydentist, the UK’s largest dental provider, which operates over 500 practices and employs 3,500+ dental professionals. The investment comes as Palamon Capital Partners fully exits its stake. mydentist’s CEO, Nilesh Pandya, and the current management team will remain invested in the business.

Also, after a £2.3 million investment, mydentist relocated a practice in Wimborne.


Clyde Munro, a dental group which operates 65 practices, with 850 staff and 500,000 patients across Scotland, has announced a multimillion-pound investment to drive growth and improve access to care. Chris Howell has been appointed chairman to support the expansion. The growth strategy includes upgrading practice infrastructure, expanding training at its Perth-based academy, advancing digital and AI tools, and boosting recruitment—especially in rural areas. Eighteen new dentists will join the group this year.


A new five-surgery NHS dental practice is set to open in Ryde on the Isle of Wight, off the south coast of England, providing care for up to 7,000 patients. The Harunani & Co Group of Dentists will convert the ground floor of 51 and 52 High Street into a clinic. The new facility will employ five dentists, five dental nurses, two receptionists, and one manager.
